Cape Cod 2008

We had Erianna's friend Melanie with us this year and of course cousin Jordyn.

We got off to a good start, flat tire during our drive up - back on the road after a 1 hr layover in Yarmouth MA while a new tire was delivered.
   
Sunday morning fishing at Minister's pond.  Jordyn caught the first fish, then Connor followed up with 3.  Mostly we fed the fish
 
Sunday afternoon - Low tide on Cape Cod bay at First Encounter Beach
A long walk out at low tide.
Then the ice cream truck arrives and it's a mad dash for the shore.
We hopped over to Great Pond for some fresh water swimming
A little "monkey in the middle" (Mel ruled - it pays to be tall)
A cloudy day Monday so off to Mini-golf (one of several games)
 
Another cloudy day Tuesday so more mini-golf and some shopping but it cleared up for sunset

Sport fishing on the Luau (cast off at 7:20 am Wednesday).  Not a popular time of day for our teenage anglers.

Thursday its off to Marconi Beach and the cold ocean surf.  Only the boys went.  Too cold for the delicate flowers.

Friday.  Last day at the beach for the boys while the girls all go shopping.
